question about social media management development

hello,
i'm creating a social media analytic app for the web, mac, iPhone and iPad and i was wondering how i would go about pulling the analytic data from sites like facebook, twitter, instagram, pintrest, and so fourth. i'm stuck and have no idea how to do this! any info would help.

I don't know what data you're looking for, but those sites typically have APIs that you can use to get data. You'll need to do some research on each site to see how they want you to do it for whatever data you're looking for.

This site gives you a console that you can use to access many site APIs, including twitter, facebook, etc.

Many sites have APIs but there has been a slow move to securing these APIs by restricting access via issuing authentication IDs. These IDs are usually free but you will have to apply to get them, and you will be bound by the terms and conditions.
