Trying to get my dev to match production

Posted 10 July 2014 - 06:34 AM

Hello, everyone,

I'm trying to get my development system to match our production environment (aside from the OS, of course), and I have a couple questions. (I'm running 64-bit Win7).

Before I get to the questions, it should be known that I inherited this computer from a former employee, and have no idea exactly what's on it, other than it has CF10 Server.

Is there a way to tell which .exe file installed CF10 Server? Our SA gave me "ColdFusion_10_WWEJ_win64.exe".

How can I determine which of the patches and hotfixes have already been applied? SA gave me several updates to install.

V/r,

^_^

Nevermind. :) SA told me to just go ahead and apply all hotfixes, just to be sure.

HOTFIXES :gun_bandana:

One of the hotfixes (or it could have been the mandatory update) threw ALL CFfunctions into 'disabled' status in Sandbox Security, preventing me from using CreateObject(java). I've fixed this by putting them all back into 'enabled' status.

But I cannot view ColdFusion Collections.
"Security: The requested template has been denied access to localhost:0"
"java.net.SocketPermission" "localhost:0" "listen,resolve"

WTF??

V/r,
