Database problem...

Posted 16 July 2014 - 09:54 AM

Hi,

I'm a developer in VB6. I've builded a flat text database with several fields separated by a tab, with more than 9 millions records.
Access doesn't allow more than 100000....
Wich kind of database should I use, which conversion tool, and how do I aplly it to VB6?
Sorry for the trouble.

Kind regards,

Kepler

You would use an actual database. Like MSSQL or MYSQL.

if you want to stay file-based, SQLite.

To understand how to apply it to VB6, investigate ADO.
