Help getting started: a test my friend gave me

Posted 20 July 2014 - 03:45 AM

Hey.

I'm studying computer and IT with Open University. I've decided to take the programming branch, and received a distinction in my first year. However I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed.

I have a problem to solve. I need to create a way to automate buying a CD on Amazon with a single button press. I've been told to use Ruby Mine, Cucumber, and Watir. This isn't part of my study, it's something a friend who's giving me some advice has set me.

I've looked up each part and I'm just a bit unsure which part to begin with.

Looking for some very basic guidance here, explanations on how these parts would interact.

Thanks for any help in advance!

That typically runs contrary to Amazon's condition of use, and we cannot help you with that here. I will close the topic and recommend you do not ask further questions regarding it here.

As always, if you have follow up questions on the 'why' feel free to shoot me a PM.
