Your Opinion On wikiclik.org

Posted 25 July 2014 - 06:09 AM

Hey guys,

Some time ago I was discussing an idea with a friend and we imagined if you were the first human on earth, how would you build a car or a computer?
You would have to know how to make fire, how to mine and melt ore and so on.
While Wikipedia probably contains all this information, there is no red line guiding us from one article to another. Certainly articles are linked with others but these links do not tell us how two articles really stand in relationship with each other.

To overcome this problem I created http://www.wikiclik.org. It would be awesome if you check out this open site, tell me what you think and if you understand the purpose. And well, if you like the idea, spread the word and contribute.

Best regards!

You are trying to build a tech tree?

----

Over all the site is 'blah'. The 'random page' doesn't go anywhere.. All pages, recent changes, etc - the same.
"Right now there are 3 articles on this wiki. "

It comes off as basically "we got this idea, we haven't implemented it yet, help us".

Final opinion - sure you installed a wiki CMS, but there's no meat, no content, and certainly nothing outside the base template to advocate sweeping changes. I may come back if there were some changes or this was even moving, but it is not a site I would refresh on an hourly basis.

Needs more information available in order to be judged.

"Here, judge my cookbook. I'll add the recipes later."
