LOL. You're welcome. Remember MSDN is your friend. That's all I did...searched MSDN. I've never used DoEvents before. Its the first time Im hearing of it. I guess we both learnt something didn't we :)?

That's very strange my friend... very strange.....

I always use MSDN and help.... this is my first move before asking something...

Thanks again....

P.S. ..... now I searched again... and as a miracle.... I found it.... as you told me....

I've been using this equivalent all the time: System.Windows.Forms.Application.DoEvents()
Interesting, I wasn't aware of the other one.

DoEvents is used to tell Windows to process other Windows Messages while performing some other operation. Without it, programs appear to 'hang' during certain operations.

It's commonly used during database operations and queries, huge mathematical operations and for almost anything that requires a progressbar.

I remember showing you my database code which used doevents. I even remember you asking me about what it does. This was about 2 years back.

Maybe its a rusty head then. E-mail that code to me if you will please. I should be able to remember what it is then. :)
