Oracle/OCI help.... with getting VARRAY field from resultset

Posted 19 April 2015 - 04:37 AM

anyone?
i have VARRAY field in table, something like
CREATE TYPE ALIST AS VARRAY(50) OF NUMBER(8)
create table ATABLE (a number(8), b mylist)
insert into mytable values(1, alist(1,2,3))

i am trying to get the value of b:
oc::Statement* stmt = m_cConnection->createStatement("SELECT b FROM ATABLE");
auto res = stmt->executeQuery();

how do i get the varray from the resultset ???
i really have no idea.. :(
