I'm looking at the positive side of things, at least they give you a choice and do not deceitfully sneak a hidden toolbar or search engine install on you without your knowledge. There are tons of companies that do that and I find it disgusting. Like someone said earlier, it is their software, their license and so they can do with it what they will. There could be a number of reasons why they are doing it. You have to remember these companies aren't your best friend and at the end of the day they have a bottomline to increase and a quota to make.

I think it is great honestly it teaches people to be mindful what you click and these days that is a valuable lesson.

I don't care too much, I always actually read installers to avoid this kind of thing anyways, but it's still very annoying when you have to click through 5 different things asking if you want to install "-insert junkware/spam here-"
