Change the showing url with JavaScript

Posted 20 August 2015 - 12:32 AM

Hey guys

I heard that it should be possible to change the showing url with help of Javascript. Because I host on my NAS a website and therefore the url which is showing on my website is looks like this : example.synxxxgy.me/blog/index.html (DDNS/Folder/Data). But I want to change the showing url for this site to my-domain.com (which is forwarding to my website).

Is this however possible to make?

Please make extensive answers :D

Thank you very much, with kind regards

If you want the website to respond to a different domain then you actually need to point the domain at that server with DNS and then configure the server to handle that domain.
