Getting rid of pop-ups and ads

Hello.
tired of seeing in-text and pop-up advertisements while browsing or doing anything on your pc ?. time to clean it !

*this shouldn't considered an alternative to installing an a antivirus or anti-maleware.
*if you have any other program that does the same thing, please add it.

Step 1: Check and sort your recently installed programs and uninstall any program that you didnt install, Example
If you cannot find any unwanted or unknown programs on your machine, then you can proceed with the next step.

For XP users:
1- Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2- In the Currently installed programs box, click the program that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
3- If you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click Yes.

For Vista & 7 users:


1- Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

2- Select a program, and then click Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it, but many simply offer the option to uninstall. To change a program, click Change or Repair. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Windows 8 users:
1- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.)

2- Enter control panel in the search box, and then tap or click Control Panel.

3- Under View by:, select Large Icons, and then tap or click Programs and features.

4- Tap or click the program, and then tap or click Uninstall.

5- Follow the instructions on the screen.

Step 2:Remove the ads or pop-ups from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.

1- Internet Explorer:
open Internet Explorer in the desktop, tap or click the Tools button Tools button (looks like a gear) , and then tap or click Internet options.

2- Mozilla Firefox:
Click this link to reset firefox, click on the refresh firefox button

3- Google Chrome:
1- In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu
2- Select Settings.
3- At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
4- Under the section "Reset settings, click Reset settings.
5- In the dialog that appears, click Reset.

Step 3: Using adware to remove adware.
1- Click Here To Download adware, Click the blue download now button.
2- Press scan
3- after scanned, click on remove/clean
4- pc will now restart

Step 4: Using JRT to remove browsing hijacker.
1- Download JRT
2- launch
3- JRT will now clean your pc

Step 5: Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
it got hacked..

Step 6: Double-check malware infection with HitmanPro
1- Pick 32bit or 64bit and install
2- it will scan the pc
3- clean/delete the infect files

And Congratulations ! you have cleaned your pc !. last step is installing an a antivirus or an a anti-malware program..
