How to get this css to work?

Posted 01 November 2015 - 11:33 PM

I'd like to use the styles on this page. I was told that they use sass though. After installing sass from the command line, i was wondering what else I would have to do to get this code to work.

SASS is a CSS preprocessor. it is used to create CSS, not to be read by browsers.

Thanks for your answer. Its starting to make a little more sense to me after also following some video tutorials on youtube all of today, but i am still left with a little bit of confusion; if sass is just a preprocessor that generates css; what is the fastest way to get this code working on my local machine? http://codepen.io/wa...erick/pen/ojtal

No, sass compiles down to css. It has a set of features that CSS does not. Things like variables and mixins are part of SASS's language. You can read more about it http://sass-lang.com/guide
So to run the codepen examples you would need to install sass on your machine, and then compile your sass files which will give you a css file.
