Watching cable tv for free online!

A friend of mine told me about this and I got in beta testing! Apparently it's a site where you can watch streaming cable TV for free on your PC. Sign up for beta while you can! Their only allowing 1000 people.

I'm interested in the legality of this. I personally work for a cable provider, are they partnering up with some big company or is this some kid in a basement somewhere looking to get busted?

Seems shady, I did sign up for the beta however. I'll check it out..

i doubt its legal, but i guess well see. id love to get rid of my cable bill. maybe they just want our emails to spam. that site looks extremely plain to be something big.

this will get pulled, if any company offers basic cable over the internet it would be the cable company

I removed the URL. Looks shady to me. There is absolutely no record of this URL even out there.

It has been sanitized for your protection. I'm sure them cable companies don't want their service being rebroadcasted for free.
