Dead or a stuck pixel?

Posted 19 December 2015 - 02:47 AM

So a couple of days ago I got this dead pixel/stuck pixel on my screen. I searched on google what was it and i just cannot figure out what type of pixel it is.

it was this black little patch so I thought it is a black pixel but then I used the JScreenfix and after using it that patch turned green-ish. Meaning it changed color so Now im confused is it a dead pixel or a stuck one?

Hi, I have had a similar problem with my TV. When I turned on my TV a pixel was green. I think that is a broke pixel and you can't repair it.

you have a stuck pixel

The only way to really repair it is to switch/replace the LCD. Turns out that they are allowed to send you LCDs with already dead pixels. It isn't considered an issue until the dead pixel ratio reaches a threshold. Once time I was replacing an LCD with one dead pixel for a customer & that one I purchased had like three.

Found this as a reference off a quick Google Search.
