Hey all.... Thanks so much for the welcomin words!!

I feel grateful for bein accepted in here.. cos i'm just so lost in the IT world.. i mean... (yes, i'm an IT student.. and am quite lost in that)... cut it short.. i'm lost.. i need people to discuss with... (since im expected to work on my own...) about my school work.. i don't even know where to start...

i've got a project.. an individual one.. and yeah.. i know it's pretty simple to most ppl... but not to me!! i find it hard to start with such short time.. catching up with other assignments.... i need help! argh!

i'm working on an indigenous language-english online dictionary... and i plan to get stuffs like Wiki features.. and so on into it.. but i've got a problem now.. i mean.. i also wanna include images in my database, for the meanings' representation.. I'm using MySql , so i don't know how to get that images into the databse.. i mean.. i don't wanna have a directory linking to the image.. i just wanna have the imags directly in my database.. how do i do that..

any experts on this... please help. greatly appreciated.

p.s - i wish i could help by sharing any knowledge on anything.. (yeah, except english - though that's one of my strongest point.. lol)

Welcome to Dream.In.Code Wynona! You will be better served asking a specific question in one of the predesignated forums. My guess is that you should ask in Databases and ask how to store images in MySQL. You will probably receive a good answer like (you really shouldn't store images directly into a database) but you never know what they might say.

Hopefully you find the answer. Oh and btw, you may want to post any code you already have written so they can see what you are doing wrong if you are doing anything at all yet.
