Deleting account

You should have a way to delete accounts. Other than "don't log in anymore", there should be a way to remove your account and information.

Unfortunately that is the option per the rules of the site.

If you have questions on the rules feel free to shoot me a PM.

All I can say is "don't put stuff on the internet you're worried you might not be able to get off".

Google indexes our site all the time, as well as many (questionably legal) sites that scrape our answers in a misguided SEO attempt.

If we let you delete your stuff here, it won't delete anything that's already been cached, indexed, or scraped.

And many sites don't let you permanently delete your data (facebook is a good example).

If you have a problem with personal information on your account or a post you've made: use the Report button (on an account or a post), and specify the information you have a problem with, and our staff will investigate.

If it's worth removing, we will. If you simply don't want your questions to be associated with the online name you chose...too bad.

Actually, it looks like a Mentor locked a thread the OP necro'd. It's not so much about wanting to remove homework, as not liking being asked not to necropost.
