I have to make a web site for a recruiting consultant
so can i make it using jsp and SQL Server 2000?
i know jsp and servlets
what is the best language for web site development.
which tool should i use for that?

There is no such thing as best language for website development. If oyu are familiar with JSP and servlets, then use them, because if you would learn something new just for this project, then you would come across problems that you would have avoided using something you already know and have experience with.
