i would pay everything i have ($12) to see us beat england in the finals. that would be fucking great. just to see the faces of the englishmen in their pubs.

they cant compare with Germany or Brazil or ne1 else... except maybe Mexico

So uh, Portugal, the #5 ranked team in the world wasn't any good? They didn't turn it on? I sure don't see them playing anymore. Capty's dumb if he thinks we'll win but to say that we aren't good, that's just stupid.
Capty, 2010, we'll compete for the cup. Mark my words. 2006 we'll get just as far as we are now or advanced to the semi's.

womens soccer pulled it off...
suprise suprise. lets get some fucking hope
the coolest part of the game was still with like 15 minutes left the stands were chanting u.s.a. it was pretty tite.
there was a bunch of rich americans there...i would never get to south korea but like 3/4 of the stands had american flags... wicked ass rich people.

I was gonna go to a bunch of games in japan then I heard that the US wouldn't be playing any games there and tix were like $180 a game so I decided not to.

Actually, it's prolly a bunch of the American soldiers stationed in S. Korea watchin their country kick ass in a completely different form (ninja style of course
) I mean, hey, if I were in the Army there or whatever, I'd give up my right arm just to see that game!
