Visual Basic Timer Help Request

Post icon  Posted 11 December 2007 - 07:13 AM

Hello Forum
I am very new to vb and do not know very much, Basically i am trying to make a application whereby when a user clicks on a button a timer or text box will display a number e.g. 25 then when the user clicks on it again the number will decrease by 1. I need this to be manual, as i need the user to click on the button and not for the timer to start automatically.

I am not sure if this is possible but i have heard of this forum before and thought i would ask anyways

Daniel

ok....have you had any experience to vb6 before?
i mean have you started to figure out a little bit of it?
it's very easy.
so, you have a number and everytime you press a button, that number will decrease(nr=nr-1).
you will need:
1) a textbox
2) a button
3) the number, for example:
Dim nr As Integer

this is your number.

hope i helped, go try and code it, post it and i'll try to help u with your code.
i can't write the program for u.
