The security database on the server does not have a computer account

Posted 21 July 2016 - 04:08 AM

I've encountered an error on our Server 2012 r2 domain controller on our small business network. When I try to log in to the server with the local admin account or a domain admin account I get this error: "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship". The solutions I've found on Google seem to be about how to solve this error on a client, not the server. I wonder if anyone has encountered this before. Thanks.

P.S.
Shared folders and VPN services are still available on the server.

Is the server on domain, and are you using active directory?
