Native Docker support in Win10 (Anniversary Edition)

Posted 11 October 2016 - 06:26 AM

I ran across this last night. Now I can have Docker for Windows more tightly integrated into the OS (hopefully with less overhead).
Is This A Good Question/Topic? 1

What's Docker all about and business uses? It's like a VM or something, right?

I suspect this and Bash on Windows 10 ( http://www.howtogeek...new-bash-shell/ ) have a lot to do with on another.

In the same section, there a super cute video on Microsoft, Hyper-V, Docker, Linux, love: https://youtu.be/Ryx3o0rD5lY

My next project is going to find a way to use this. I've been using linuxy stuff in our 100% Microsoft shop for years. When Microsoft adopted git, I was floored. Now Visual Studio web projects can use gulp files and azure hosts nodejs projects!
