Is there a free linux computer I can connect to with putty?

Posted 26 November 2016 - 03:02 PM

I want to be able to use a linux computer for educational purposes and to run some C programs. I don't want to dual boot, use a VM (computer to slow), or host my own computer. I was wondering if there is some free service where I can get an account on a linux computer I can connect to with putty.

You can try http://freeshell.org/

(I think they're actually running some flavor of BSD, but it should be close enough for most purposes)
