Anyone one out there know of any decent ASP.NET books available yet. I've had a project dropped on me that *requires* it (I just learned VBScript last year, wasn't enough?) Boss/Contractor is a major M$ geek (would never run apache/linux/mySql if his life depended on it...)
this is gonna throw a *major* wrench in my Javascript/Perl education..... (due date, 6 months for me to become ASP.NET MSCD)

There are several .NET books out already. Check Wrox, I think they have a couple.

Yeah... that book is inorder for me so I can't reccommend it or not, I tried to just cruise through the help files like I have with all other miicrosoft programming IDEs but with over a gig of hdocumentation it is almost unbareable.
Meanwhile I'm upset because I don't get my 'free' copy of windows.NET server until sept/oct...
