Is there a way to make spring reload statc content everytime?

Posted 22 January 2017 - 02:49 PM

Hi!

Since static content (such as .js and .css files) is not part of thymeleaf, I ask this question in new thread: Can I make it so that spring would read them from file every time I change it? Working on desingn and js is extremely time consuming if I have to restart spring app for every change I make in css, js? I mean the content that is under resources/static.

Use Thymeleaf. It uses the extension .html and is considered a "natural templating engine". That is, you can do exactly what you specify above, simply view the page in the browser instead of restarting your spring or j2ee application. If you already are using jsp Thymeleaf shouldn't be too much of a leap to learn.
