hi guys.
see im working with this free hosting server and it keeps telling me to use the following command in windows command prompt while i have jdk 5 installed to create "ROOT.war" file out of the directory of the files i want to upload.

jar cvf ROOT.war

the problem is windows doesnt recognize the "jar" command. and i do have the environment variables set to the java bin directory. the other java commands work. the ones like "java" or "javaw" but not the "jar" command. and i checked the bin directory of jdk and there is no "jar.exe" there! so windows kinda has a point in not recognizing the command. what can i do?! please help me out.

I do have the jar.exe in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_09\bin so I think you might have to reinstall the JDK.
