MAGIC SQL - and .DAT file types

Posted 02 March 2017 - 02:44 AM

Hey guys im really confused.

I need to copy data from one database to my program and i stuck. I didn't see anything similar before.

Tables are stored in files .DAT and .LCK . I'm looking for some kind of management studio or GUI where i can see and modify those data or probably export to Excell

Do you have a link for this Magic SQL? I've never heard of it.
Where is the data coming from? What is the source?

Try opening the .DAT file in Notepad and/or Excel:

How to Read and Open .DAT Files in Windows

LCK is probably a lock file.

It isn't encouraging to have to open a DAT file, especially without knowing the source.

You could look into some sort of 'file viewer', I know there are some that will open .Dat files. However I am unsure if it will read the format of yours correctly, as it is normally for things like WinMail.Dat files.
