Every New Year's for the past 20 years, I've gone and partied. It's been great. This year, I'm apparently staying home and having a nice dinner with another couple, and putting my kid to bed. I'm told this will be equally as exciting.

I'm skeptical, but I'll give it a shot (of whiskey).

ah whiskey the best companion ;)

2 hours 40 mins to countdown, will be going to a nearby hill and setting off fireworks from there. not bad at all (plus we'll be roasting stuff and taking em as well with loads of beer n cola)

I'm doing nothing period. Unless you count (maybe) installing F8 over Mac OS X, and playing WoW. In all likelihood, I won't screw with my macbook.

I did this for the last 4 years. Yes, it can be fun.
But now I go and party. We rent a pub, dammit :P
