Any database you like (and is supported by Java).

There might be some differences in how suitable a DB type (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Database_model) is for your project, but we can't answer that with the amount of information given.

What do you want to store? How do you want to store it?

You have a bevy of options from PostGres to NoSQL options.

You should store the real content, not the whole HTML page.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean storing the content in a database - maybe a filesystem would be more appropriate, though of course that may mean storing paths to it in a DB or something.

Why are those databases the best?

If you want to self promote then create a discreet link in a signature from your profile, do not just add an irrelevant link to a post.

A REST api is a document store.

This is just plain wrong.

I guess the best database to utilize is Oracle or PostgreSQL.

This isn't necessarily the case, given what the OP asked. If you're going to give suggestions, at least give justification for them.
