So I wrote an email to a connection to an company I really want to work for. I don't know them but I described how we are connected and my interest in the company. I accidentally hit send before finishing the subject line so it only reads "Software Engineer seeking". I actually really want to work for this company, is there anyway to turn this around or should I just wait a few months and try applying again?
How bad is this?

What's wrong with that subject line? Seems reasonable to me. Better than 30 words

I think he's saying that those three words are the entirety of the message: No body.
Classic99 - Just make a good message and send it. If your skills/resume are so lacking that one bad email will knock you out of the running, then no email no matter how good is going to get you a job. If you have skills, an empty email isn't going to stop them from hiring you.
Tip: Buck up. Being *this* timid isn't going to work in software engineering. Its a field that is typically tough on its people. You need to be a self starter, self managed and a go-getter. Not someone that has to seek out approval and advice on each and every little bitty thing like this.

It's not bad.
Send your 'connecting email' sooner than later.

Looks like an opportunity to handle an error gracefully.

Just apologize and say your cat stepped on the keyboard.

pro-tip, fill in the 'to' field last.
If you want to show off to a company, attention to detail can't be lax.
