Do you think you want to put out an android app, or will eventually? Then I would suggest yes.. learn it.

If you're at the stage where you're asking "is it worth it to learn X" then the answer is probably, "yes, if you think there's something you want to make with X"
This question indicates a relatively junior person, so what I'd like to see from that person is some evidence of engagement with programming. That means, make stuff. If you have an idea for an android app, make it. If you have an idea for a website, make it. Have fun making it, try to learn something from the project, try to do it in a way that you're proud of but don't get stuck trying to perfect it forever - get it done and move on to something else! - and make sure the source code and the finished product are visible to someone who's interested in knowing what you can do.

Let's not forget to mention it really isn't an "either/or". Permute - learn both; do both.

I would strongly suggest Xamarin. .NET has been pushing it for a while, you dont exactly need a visual studio anymore to work with it because visual studio code is also cross platform. So doesn't matter if you are working in windows, mac-os or linux.

As for your second question. It really is based on what you client needs, app or web app. for web app, there are templates like prime face, prime ng, bootstrap, w3c, etc that are mobile first. You can also custom make the mobile first apps. I use MEAN stack, node.js with handlebars and mongodb for this.

if it is just an app, I would suggest going for Xamarin.

if you are just starting out and have no background in coding, you should look in to Javascript, TypeScript and ECMAscript for MEAN stack and other stacks that you can possibly make with node.js express.js. For Xamarin, you should look in to .net technologies and C#.

For database you can look in to:

RDBMS (relational database management system)

- MS SQL, My SQL

No-SQL database

- Mongodb, JSON

*implies a major face palm here*

Well, if you have to ask, it isn't worth it...to you.

EDIT: Have it this way, it is an open-source programming language and with the right mind it can be learned within a day. It is considered for the AI, machine learning, ethical hacking, web development, app development and further more.

If you haven't already done so, learn the fundamentals of programming using whichever language appeals to you. Java and Python are both good choices.

Later you would decide what *interests* you more, whether that is game, web, system, or any other programming direction. Your choice should be determined by passion. Even if your locale has prevalence for web programming you don't want to be directed by something that doesn't interest you. A good programmer will always find work in their chosen field. (Of course, location would be an issue if you chose something obscure, which game and web aren't.)

That's not exactly true. I have been a full stack web app developer for few years but I still have not found a job in my own field.

I love python I did one small project in python and tkinter and I would love to learn python but there is not a lot job offers in web development in Poland. Do you think python may be easier to master than C#/java and it can be very good entertainment? I understand a little bit about metasploit XD

I'll second this.

There's no language that you can just stumble upon that makes employment easy, immediate, or super lucrative. Each & everyone requires hard work, dedication, & effort. There are no shortcuts to anything. Until you get over that, you're waisting time looking at the wrong details.
