ChatterBot - module not found.

Posted 23 October 2017 - 01:02 PM

I've installed chatterbot via Anaconda and upgraded the module just fine. I'm able to check the version. But when I call it, it says the module can't be found. I can see it in my anaconda site package list.

import chatterbot just tosses the error "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'chatterbot'"...

Any ideas why this would happen?

Thanks for the help in advance!

Which one? There seems to be more than one.

In which case, should it be import chatterbot or ChatterBot. (Or Chatterbot.)

I dont think any of my additional Anaconda install packages can be called from Idle... It's working from Visual Studio. So I guess this thread is closed.

Thanks for your help!

Do you need Visual Studio? (Anaconda comes with Spyder which seems reasonable - better than Idle. No offence Eric.)

Anyway, glad you have some resolution.
