Write Pseudocode with Arrays

Posted 25 October 2017 - 10:47 AM

How would I write a pseudocode for a program that can do the following:

1. Read a data file containing student names, ID#, and gender into an array
2. Print the contents of each using array
3. Count the # of female and male students by using an array and printing the counts

AND A pseudocode for a program that:

Produce a bill for cell phone charges. Data fields should include date, number called, number of minutes and cost (rate x minutes) and load that data into an array

I'm struggling with arrays and my instructor (online) refuses to give me visual modules to review. Help Please :)

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I have researched and researched and I cannot figure it out. I'm in online school for computer programming, my very first year, and my instructor is never available when I am to show me. He was supposed to write two pseudocodes for me to review and never did. Since I am a visual learner I am struggling. Arrays are what gets me.. I feel like this should be more simple than it is!

Arrays are just ordered buckets to hold similar data. Starts at 0 and counts up.

If you had an array of three integers how would you print them out?
[0] = 23
[1] = 667
[2] = 95
