Hey there ya'll, i'm new here. Please can i get a link to download the visual studio setup please, thanks. and what year will you recommend i go for.

Presumably you are looking for the free version, in which case a search of "visual studio community edition" will yield results. Go for the most recent stable release, which you will normally be prominently offered (unless you have a particular reason to hunt out an older version).
