C++ Input/Output File Question

Posted 04 November 2017 - 11:19 PM

I'm working with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015. When using .txt files, where do I attach them? In the resource or source file folder? Also, where do I put them in the actual file folder containing my project? Thanks!

I'm fairly new to programming. How would I go about using right reference for this?

What modi123_1 means, I think, is that you just need to use the correct path to the file(s) in your program.
