I want to develop multi-user application and my problem is that i don't know how to store the settings for each user.
One way is to have file for each user and when run the application to determine who is using the program right now and load settings for that user.That works well(i think...) but is there better way to do this?
Are there any built-in classes/methods in .Net Framework which are responsible for loading/saving settings for the current active user?

in asp.net you can do it using session variables and the global.asa(x) file. within applications however you have to store the information somewhere and read from that file / database table / storage method somehow to find out who is actually logged onto the application at a given point.

So basically you would have to store the information into a database somewhere.
