Exactly and here is the source with all the recent changes
source from 28Mar2017

I have a very simple change that I want my swampies to try.

I have a fast forward option that catalogs the video with the code needed to fly.
Creating lots of start at 1 second in and play for 1/30 second then
skip to 2 seconds in and play for 1/30 second.
....
This works fine and has other uses.

But I'd like to see something simpler...
There are a couple of ways to do this upgrade..

Right now I have a "Again" option.
My swampies can follow these noodles and substitute "budge"
The logic can change to allow it to move / budge / tease / feather its way through key segments.

Swamp search code exe and my notes files

Solid vs successful.
All the years of listening to the B.S. from the perfect perfects and know it alls.
none of them has called me out successfully.
see "nobody shares knowledge better than this"

when you are the best brag.... A lot.

Show me a structured version of this search. Yup the brainiacks can't touch Spectate Search

This isn't true. It's possible to do something that works but is still stupid. If your goal is to get inside a building, one option is to open the door and walk in. Other options include breaking a window and going in that way, or knocking a hole in a wall with your car. Those are stupid options when you could just use the door, even though they worked to get you inside the building.

With a shitload of great features...

Changing and updating this code has been surprising easy. Just follow a noodle or 2 and viola.

Another feature I'd like to see my swampies try is to make a cript.txt file
that will bilingualize all my notes...

That Spectate Search uses this file to encrypt text data. 2 lines of text per each change
The first is the line to find the 2nd is the replacement text.

Any search worth its salt had a search / replace option. Even old Greppler himself
did that one.

Google doesn't have that option or does it?

This feature would allow me to easily create source code for each and every language
French Spanish .... English. All my Swampies will have the exact same source.

This change should be quite easy too. To make it work on the source I'd have to skip the logic
that changes multiple spaces and tabs to 1 space. ONLY if the search program name has "code" in it....

Not hard to create a differences option to check what has changed....
Any good search should have this....

Go my Swampies.....
I'll be so proud of you...

Does the blood.txt file have any adverse affect on the cript.txt file? After installing, I am concerned about some BEEF error I am receiving and it seems to be related to those two files.

With the mass search and replace the Spectate reader can show you the news the way you want it... ie

Translate the crap statements like " that's a good question " to " bla bla bla "
translate " that being said " " again to " bla bla bla "
translate " minister of " to " minister of corruption and crime"
translate " donald trump " to " whatever you want good or bad"

Reading the news can be this good.

Maybe it is the Stones???
The greatest app
The greatest stones
The Fantastic dino skin hunter
The greatest spaghetti coder
The greatest sky creature video hunter.
and a lot more...

The new budge feature is working...

This is the command to show the segment in detail.
photo tobacco leaf flyer begin==62500 start==63940 wait=.30 again budge maxbud10 speed=50
xxx.c:\search\demo85_pict7.mpg

The latest source is at
http://www.telusplan...edan/source.txt

Check for 17Dec2017 changes to implement it
Great spaghetti code is flexible like this...
exe
http://www.telusplan...edan/search.exe

Nearly 20 years old code with oodles of changes and still purring along.

The budge feature is a game changer for video. It ensures the segment
requested is played... By issuing the start play multiple times. Then
continuing play from there..

If you search out "timeline playback" problems forum
You will see that this is a problem.
If anything else is running ie indexers or security apps then the video play can be messed up.

But not with budge feature.

Don't be scared give this app a boo.. You will be rewarded.

Only spaghetti code can be jammed like this..
The budge results are pretty good..
to be able to show specific frames.
I needed to set the play segment length to play before each wait segment in slow motion. 0.0688
I needed to set the begin play and start of slow motion to make sure the video is playing before I start slow mo.
I need to set the number of times the budge segment will play before moving on like 4 or 5

The video always plays the specific segment in super slow motion... I see 4 frames with the Sky Creature in full flight.
I will do a screen reshoot of this segment tomorrow.
The video timeline playback text will also be shown.
You'll have to grab a copy and insert your own video and jam that. I know you can.
See stuff better than ever before.
