Terminal IO

Post icon  Posted 16 January 2008 - 05:44 PM

I started to program in Java in a class I am taking in school. In the class we use Netbeans IDE 6.0. In Netbeans, we use the TerminalIO, TurtleGraphics, and BreezySwing methods. However, when I downloaded Netbeans at my house I was unable to find those methods. How do you get to the methods? Is there a certain file I have to download in order to get them?

Yes, you have to download those libraries, because they were written by professors at Western Washington University (which I am assuming is the University you are attending)

The files are available here.

The purpose of them making these special libraries for you is so that you can focus on the points of programming that they find more important for your education, and they are basically hiding the nitty gritty of some of the Java libraries from you.
