Format for decimal point in asp.net

Hello,

i m beginner in asp.net appl. i want to do format for decimal number in asp.net and i want to use different currency format in my appl. plz suggest for me with sample code.

Try taking a look at something like yourVar.ToString("c");, or some of the custom format strings you can pass into String.Format().

Did you even bother to look at the documentation?

Convert a string to a double:
string text = "100.55";
double number = double.Parse(text);
