February Desk & Desktop Shots

Posted 03 February 2008 - 11:56 AM

I took a couple pictures of the recently redone home office, we bought 2 of these Studio RTA glass desks and put them together to make one large shared workspace.

i wish my workplace was that clean, i have this desk that is literally 90% covered with Stuff/computer/monitor/random crap/old school work that i am too lazy to clean up. I wish i had that much workspace, it would be so kickass

If I had a camera, I could take a picture of my desk in my dorm. The only thing I have is my iSight camera on my macbook. I would use that, but I don't have a giant mirror either

take a picture of the room with your isight and then use paint to draw in where your macbook would be.

you paid for glass desks.

your a nut.

haven't you seen the pictures of people who come home and their desk is shattered and their computer is on the ground.

1/2 inch used to be the minimum thickness of glass that was really safe. its less now with LCD's as opposed to the heavy-crt's.

btw, they are a pain to clean everyday.
i didn't know i was so dirty till i had a glass desk.

Yeah, these desks were at a good price and they had the space we needed, Ideally I didn't really *want* glass. They are a pain to clean but I used to have a black desk which would actually show more dust and crap.

The desk shattering is a nightmare, it's tempered glass but with a good enough impact combined with the weight on the desk I have no doubt it could end up like the one in the picture...
