Well Orkut is also a online community of friends like facebook, myspace, hi5 etc.

But Orkut is most preferred by all this site.

So that's why I made a community in orkut.

First join this community and you will like this site.

You know I have being using this website for 4 years.

I found this website better rather than myspace, hi5 etc.

Orkut does have an extremely large contingent of Brazilian users. It's also been known as a haven for several groups that tend towards racial and national segregation.

Sloth makes a good point. These little off-shoot communities on myspace, and face book, and orkut... they kind of defeat the purpose of DIC. DIC is in itself a community, a very large one. The chances of a non-DIC sponsored group on a social networking site adding much/any value is slim to nill. We have a facebook group, we have a flickr group, these are things that are rarely used, because most people would rather come to the actual site and post their pics, or talk with each other.

Linking to DIC on your blog, or posting about DIC on another web site is one thing, but creating an entirely new group for DIC members is really quite pointless. We already all belong to the same site, and while letting that affiliation be known on sites like facebook and even myspace or orkut are ok, they really should be DIC sponsored groups.
