VB submit command button adds information to access
Posted 09 February 2008 - 12:25 PM
I have no code because I am clueless as to how to do this. Ive created a form and after the user clicks the submit button, I would like all of the information they provided in the fields to be added to an access database.

Here is a tutorial we have on connecting to an access database. It is written for an ASP application but the concepts are the same. The main difference is where you see Server.CreateObject replace that with CreateObject. Read through that, try some things and if you run into problems post the code (in code tags like
) and we will be happy to help. We just don't hand out code unless someone makes an effort first

Hi All, I'm pretty new to VB. I will appreciate some help on a similar request as lissy9113's but this time with Visual Basic 2008. I have a form that is already connected to an MS Access database. Thanks.

I too have the same problem and have looked for days. Seems this Programming Help forum just wants you to figure it out your self. The question was asked two years ago and still no answere.
