Parse error in php page

Posted 13 February 2008 - 11:15 AM

Hi.

I'm trying to install a new php script, but I keep getting this error:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/functions.php on line 202"

Here is the code for line 202:
<p><label for="day" class="dropdown"><?php echo $txt[29] ?><?php echo; ?></label>:

Whats wrong?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Of your 2 echo statements, what looks different?

Your 1st one is echoing the variable $txt[29], but does not end the echo command with a semi-colon.
Your 2nd one issues an echo command with the semi-colon to end the command, but you didn't reqeust anything to echo.

Try this:
<p>
<label for="day" class="dropdown">
<?php echo $txt[29]; ?>
<?php echo ""; ?></label>

Thanks.

Since I already have a thread in this forum-section I might as well just post it in here:

How do I fix a "Recent posts in forum" column on my mainsite? (Last posts made in forum) I have seen it in many sites and it would be cool to have that too. By the way, I use phpbb3 forum.

Yeah I'm using that on my site too. I'm not sure you could do that without editing a lot of the actual code. The editing that I have done was fairly easy (adding links to the top bar of links), but something like that I'm guessing would be a lot harder. Good luck though!
