I really hate people that tell the time in analog. It takes me ages to process what it is, but with digital it is like instantanious. I guess the question appended to this topic would be, to you tell the time to others in analog or digital, and in what context would you rather know the time?
Do you speak in Analog or Digital?Title 2: How do you tell the time to others.

"quarter to five". This could be better represented by using "four, fourty-five".

It doesn't really matter that much to me.
But I'd prefer being told "10 mins to 5" rather than "4.50"

I just love it when you ask somebody what time it is, then they say "quarter-till", quarter till what? I prefer you just tell me "4:45"!

As I have this on my desk

I usually just give them a series of ones and zeros. People generally only ask me the time once.

Anytime someone asks me the time I simply reply,"Fuck off good sir, I have no need for you and your 'time'. "

I would be guilty of minimized analog time recitation output.
Stranger: "Excuse me, do you have the time?"
Me: "Yup. It's a quarter of."
Until now, I didn't realize it annoyed people.
