XM vs Sirius Radio
Posted 07 March 2008 - 12:53 PM
Looking to get one of these two satellite radio subscriptions.
I've done comparisons on the stations available and and pretty content with what both offers.
My questions too anyone of you who have one of these or any experience is:
1. What is the quality of the broadcasts? Does it ever not get signal?
2. What is a good receiver for it?
I am mainly getting this for use at work, but i would like to be able to put it in my car as well.
I noticed that there are a couple different versions of a walk-man/ipod like design. (Helix is one i believe) I am leaning more towards this version of the recievers.
So if anyone has any experience with these and which ones are good i would appreciate any suggestions or advice that you have for me.
Thank you in advance!

skyfi.
if you do it:
first off search google and get 3 months free like i did.
promotion code or somewhat,
then tell them your gonna drop the service before the 3 months and get 3 months at 4.99 per months. like i just did.
xm has commercials now, which i don't understand.
i'm not entirely happy with it, and plan on giving it up after my next 3 months are up, not worth all that money imo... but at the same time it doesn't get used all the time, and i haven't taken the chance to get to know the stations, i just have a few favorited.
thats my review of xm.

Thats a good idea I will have to see if I can hunt down a free code. I think i will probably end up getting XM.
What would you suggest for a reciever, i kinda like this Helix thing.
