Hello!

I'm Monique and I am a complete and total newbie. I'm not even sure where to start. After a -long- vacation after high school, I'm finally returning to college. The job market isn't too friendly to people with just a high school diploma. I'm currently finishing my General Studies AA and trying to figure out what my BS will be in.

I'm interested in getting into web programming. I bought myself a C++ book after reading that would be a good place to start teaching myself the basics of programming.

So, look forward to a bunch of questions from me.

Oh, by the way. Has anyone taken any classes from IWG-HWI I think that's the name of it. They offer individual classes as well as certifications.

Welcome to </dream.in.code> Have a great time here posting your questions and having them answered by the great bunch of people, C++ is a good start, but if you just want to do web programming, I'd suggest you start with HTML. N-joy
