This is an interesting turn of events actually. Bill Gates recently talked about how Google has no grasp on what business wants, yet Microsoft keeps trying to rip off some of Google's ideas (similar to Google base perhaps?)

This is not entirely a new idea, but it is cool that there is another choice out there. Thanks for pointing it out.

Checked it out, seems to be better than the usual Microsoft cruft.

Haven't tried to upload anything yet though. Does it require IE or Silverlight or something?

Neither, I use Firefox with it and don't have Silverlight installed

That would be the only thing that would worry me about using something like this. Who knows, who is looking at your stuff, or for that matter, some lunatic employee with access to it ALL


esp if you have personal things, or some kinda of sensitive information on it.

The easy solution is to package your data into an archive, encrypt it (Linux users, see 'ccrypt'), and then rename it to something like "family_movie.avi".
