get URL from browser other than IE

hello everyone,
i am new to this forum and also to VB .NET
well i need to create an application that keep track of web sites visited by user irrespective of browser type (IE/Mozilla/Netscape,etc)
I can get URL from currently running instances of IE but not able to do so in any other browsers. :-(
please someone help me out..
any help is appriciated.

I have seen implementations where one would enum through the windows and get the textbox text through the Win API, but I'm not sure if Firefox or any other browser uses special custom controls.

You could also use the GetWindowText API method to get the Page Title, but I'm not sure this is what you want. Let us know how you go with this. :)

thanks for ur reply.
i have already tried that.
in case of enum windows it gives an overflow exception in vb .net
but my guide wants the exact URL from the browser
