How do you like your Pizza?

Now I think everyone knows Pizza started in Italy. I watch the Discovery channel the other week, and they had a show on Pizza. It was actually pretty interesting to learn tomatoes were once thought to be poison, and how Pizza came to be...

But now there is a big debate about New York Style / Chicago style, Plain cheese, which toppings, and on and on and on....

A simple question. What style of pizza do you like, and what do you like on it?

I love a deep dish pizza with everything EXCEPT anchovies, pineapple, chicken, spinich, and sardines. Sorry guys, (and ladies) that crap is nasty.

Excellent question!

I like mine regular (no fancy crust) with Pepperoni & Black Olives. Sometimes I'll dab the crust in Ranch Dressing.

i like a good pepperoni or how ever you spell that with a stuff crust and some ranch...but pizza huts combination pizza with stuff crust is great as well...

Well, pizza & computers just go hand in hand. I don't know how many code books I've read that use ordering a Pizza as a real-world example.

Well I like lots of different combo's. I used to work for Dominos so I tried alot of them. My favourite is ham, pineapple and beef. I will add veg to it as well but i don't like the vegetarian or the extravaganza feast. Besides, with too many toppings the pizza doesn't cook as well.

Hmm...there's two for me. Either ham and pineapple or pepperoni, onion, peppers and green chillies. Deciding between them is very difficult, so I usually have half and half :D

Pizza hut has an amazing pizza that is stuffed crust and its so thick and cheesy. That is hands down my favorite

Well if we're choosing from what pizza has become I like all sorts but particularly a thick crust, lots of spicy meat, I like olive and anchovies too.
I even like the sin that is pineapple on them.

But I've been to Italy a couple of times and the thin fresh pizzas they make there are almost a different food altogether. Thin and slightly crisp (possibly unleavened) bread with a real freshly made tomato sauce not a vinegar filled mass produced slop. They are usually quite simple too, discs of mozzarella, olives, sometimes basil, and olive oil on top delicious but not the sort of thing you scarf down whilst lounging on your sofa watching movies or at your desk coding like fury.

I like hawaiian pizza: ham and pineapple. I worship whoever created that combo. Its weird but its tastes sooo good. Ledo's makes it the best, too.

Then, its UNO's cheeseburger pizza. Ketchup, pickles, american cheese and whatever the white cheese is, etc. Good stuff.

The nastiest pizza Ive ever had was the philly steak pizza from dominoes. I felt like I was going to throw up after one bite.

Without a doubt we have "americanized" pizza. Some would say it's like everything else America has touched... fubar. Another big difference about their pizza is the way they still cook it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most of them still use a stone oven, heated by firewood or something like that? If you use the words pizza and microwave over there, you'd probably get shot.

I like what is called an Aussie. I can't really describe the toppings well as I forget, but it usually contains egg, ham, pineapple, mushrooms and taste. ;)

I love pizza (surprise from a developer!). I love pineapple (and indeed most fruits).

Pineapple does not belong on pizza. It's in the bible,and anyone who puts/likes it on pizza is a heathen. Including the Hawaiians.

I don't put pineapple on pizza. I am right with God.

I do love sausage on pizza though...I think most deity's are cool with that.
