The only things not professional on this resume are some of the program languages listed. I know many of them but have not used them professionally.

Here's my resume in my usual format, as well as the new diligent specific format that chris and i were just forced into doing.
I think soon I will probably create a nice middle ground between the two.

So I am having a tough time deciding how to set mine resume up. I have created a "teaser" which shows the past 4 years of work history, and then have a full version of my resume with all the work history.

Here's my dorky resume. Yes, there are a lot of degrees - I somehow thought if I had more, I would have a better shot at a 'real' job..... and wow, was I mistaken... there IS such a thing as 'too much'.

4 years - 2 at allegany and 2 at frostburg.... I was a dweeb and took more than a full course load every semester - full-time day schedule plus night classes and summer sessions. When I started getting into web design, I self-taught pretty much all of it, then went back for some certification classes (cuz there was absolutely ZERO web and graphic design courses in my original degrees).

Yeah but a BS is a 4 year degree. So you had to have been dual majoring the whole time.
If that is the case, then you ma'am are more addicted to education than I was. lol
I got 8 years in on 1 BS & a minor. I was dual majoring for a while, but the workload was tedious juggling school and kids and 2 full time jobs.
I spent the last 3 years part timing it to finish one degree, generalized it and used extra credits for a minor. I still have some credits left over but only like 30 or so.

it was sort of double majoring, sort of not. Since all my degrees are under the same school, most of the classes overlapped. Just a few random specifics I had to squeeze in for the multiple degrees - that's another reason I got so many... if I 'only' needed 3 more classes for another degree, I took them. Cuz I'm a dork.
And I graduated in 99... didn't have kids till 01... so that was a definite advantage.

If anyone is interested, here's a website that let's you build a more graphical resume...
www.myresumaker.com
They are generated at PDF, txt, or Craigslist compatible versions.
It's like $20, but your info is all saved so you don't have to write it again later... pretty cool for lazy people like me that hate writing resumes...
