I've been told - and quite often - that employers will not care about your High school, however I think some of the awards would be nice to include under the awards part (The National Honor Society thingy) but the GPA and other stuff is unnecessary. But of course - I don't know what an Advanced HS Diploma is - so it could be relevant for all I know
Also, just a little design aside, I would like to see your phone and email end on the same line as your name... I think it would look more symmetrical. And have you looked at it with the formatting visible? Its the little paragraph tag it displays all the spaces, line breaks, tabs, etc.. If it looks good in this (as in not to cluttered) then it is a well formatted word document.
I took at look at yours like this KYA and it looked pretty good, although you shouldn't use more than one tab and spaces to line things up (it is easier and more consistent if you use the little ruler at the top to set tab stops)... Just FYI
Some employers might not even look at this - but the ones that do will want to see that you know how to use a basic office program like Word, especially for a computer job don't you think?

Thanks for the feedback. If I'm handing in a paper copy then the formatting thing seems to be a moot point. I looked at the formatting and I don't see what you're seeing. I could just be Word ignorant though. Good thing I'm not applying for a graphic design gig.

It's interesting to see how people setup their resumes. I've been long debating going to a two page layout, but so far I've managed to just keep rearranging it until it fits into a page. Anyway, here 'tis:
I think your layout looks really cool. The simple embellishment of the coloured column is understated enough to be acceptable in business, but practical enough to make it easier to read.
Plus, it's nice to see someone post something in an appropriate format rather than a Word document

Well, here's mine. Feel free to rip it apart. I need the criticism. People are here are too damn nice.
Sure: it sucks.
Actually, it doesn't. It looks a lot like mine. I would lose the custom bullet points though, I think they look a little bit like you're trying too hard.
