about compiler

can u please tell me why compiler shows 1041 lines compiled if my programme have only 19 lines.

When you include files with the #include statement at the top, you are actually going out and getting code and bringing it into your program and then executing it. So even if you have #include <iostream> you are actually including code lines with your program.

This may explain the number of actual lines executed. :)
